The matchup: Cal opens the 2026 season at home under the lights against UCLA. The Bears and Bruins were Pac-12 rivals for decades, and this is one of their first meetings as non-conference opponents now that Cal plays in the ACC and UCLA in the Big Ten; Cal leads the all-time series. A primetime ESPN opener is the perfect backdrop to kick off our sesquicentennial season.

• Two BBQs fired up for turkey, chicken, and beef burgers

• Beer and wine provided

  • BYOB if you want mixed drinks

• Music provided by the students

• Parking available at the DKE House until ~3 hours before kickoff; BPD closes the street to vehicles after that
